Hi! I am stopping by after visiting Sarah's blog. I've always loved this poem. Enjoy blogging, it's so fun! I'm joining your "followers" group so we'll chat again later!
I love that post -- I have received it in email form many times. When I was working on my masters one day it was so hot, I ran through the sprinklers on campus. It felt so good, I kept running and felt like such a kid. I had several people looking at me like I was a bit strange, but I didn't care. Whenever I read this saying, it reminds me when I ran through the sprinklers! It felt so good to be childlike!
Thank you all for your encouraging posts. I am looking forward to making new friends and checking out what's happening in your worlds also.
That is funny, Jaime... those people who were looking at you strangely, may have wanted to do that themselves. They just didn't have the courage like you did that day. Well done. :)
Thank you for stopping by my blog! Loved to see you there! You asked how long it took me to write that poem, so I thought I would answer. None of my poems usually take much more than a half hour, once I get started. Sometimes I struggle with something to write about and that takes longer than the actual writing. Once I get going, there isn't much stopping me! There are some that when I'm finished, I don't like (therefore, don't post) but sometimes I go back over them after a couple of weeks (or months) and tweek them to make them better. But for the most part, 30-45 minutes is my write time! Thank you for taking an interest! Glad you stopped by and I hope you'll pop over again!

This is one of my favourite quotes. In fact, I have it on my fridge as a magnet! :)
